Sago Pointe
Sago Pointe, located in Bonita Springs, Florida, is a condominium complex consisting of thirteen buildings and a clubhouse.
All of the buildings in the complex were damaged to varying degrees by Hurricane Irma. The original damage claim filed by the condo association was denied by the insurance carrier AMCAP.
Through a professional referral, the association contacted SFR Services for help. We met with the association representatives, thoroughly inspected the roofs and structures, and documented the damage with both photographs and drone footage.
After completing the inspection, we performed mitigation measures, such as tarping and boarding, to secure the property from further damage.
We presented our findings to the homeowner’s association and they placed their trust in us by entering into an Assignment of Benefits contract, which allowed us to pursue payment of their claim on their behalf directly with the insurance company.
While the claim was in the settlement process, until their insurance claim was settled, SFR continued mitigation measures on the buildings, at no cost to the community.
SFR Services handled the claim for Sago Pointe professionally, ethically and in a timely fashion to obtain a proper settlement for them, which allowed the association to complete the restoration of their community.
